Холивудскиот актер Колин Фарел со години важи за еден од најголемите заводници, на чиј шарм паднале многу актерки, и од помладата и од постарата генерација.

Една од приказните кои го следат Колин, е дека тој бил во врска со сега починатата холивудска икона Елизабет Тејлор, која била дури 36 години повозрасна од него.

Елизабет почина во 2011 година, а две години потоа Колин ја откри нивната врска, за која малкумина знаеле дотогаш.

#OnThisDay in 1958, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” premiered in theaters. This film is an adaption of the 1955 #PulitzerPrize-winning play of the same name by Tennessee Williams. It stars Elizabeth and Paul Newman in the leading roles, with Burl Ives, Judith Anderson, Jack Carson and Madeline Sherwood in supporting roles. Production began on March 12, 1958, but, by March 19, Elizabeth had contracted a virus which kept her off the shoot. Due to her illness, she canceled plans on March 21 to fly with her husband, #MikeTodd, to New York, where he was to be honored the following day by the New York Friars’ Club. The plane crashed, and all passengers, including Todd, were killed. Beset with grief, Elizabeth remained off the film until April 14, 1958, at which time she returned to the set in a much thinner and weaker condition. #CatOnAHotTinRoof was ultimately a hit with both critics and audiences, remaining #1 at the US box office for a long period after its release. It was #MGM’s most successful film of 1958, and became the 3rd highest-grossing film of that year.
